⭐ AFFILIATE PROGRAMME – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By joining the Piano Teaching Hub Affiliate Programme, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are written to ensure fairness, transparency, and practicality for all teachers participating.

1. Eligibility

The programme is open to teachers, music tutors and music educators aged 18+ who request a personal affiliate link via email.

2. How Tracking Works

  • Each teacher receives a unique cutt.ly link for each book they wish to promote.
  • The link tracks clicks, not confirmed Amazon buyers.
  • Tracking may vary depending on the browser used (e.g., iPhone privacy settings do not always track accurately).
  • Clicks are recorded when cutt.ly successfully receives tracking data — not all devices guarantee this.

3. Attribution of Sales

Because Amazon does not share purchase identities with us, we determine commission using the following system:

  • A commission is awarded when a sale appears in the KDP dashboard and can be reasonably linked to teacher-generated traffic around the same period.
  • If two or more teachers generate clicks around the same time and only one sale occurs, the commission may be shared or allocated in a fair and practical way based on available data.
  • In cases where attribution is unclear, The Piano Teaching Hub reserves the right to distribute commission using the most fair and reasonable method possible.
  • This may result in a reduced commission (e.g., £0.50 each) or a shared commission when necessary.

4. Commission Amount

  • Commission is up to £1 / $1 per sale, depending on the attribution clarity described above.
  • Where multiple teachers influence the same purchase window, the payout may be split.
  • Commission may differ if unusual traffic patterns or data anomalies occur.

5. Payment Schedule

  • Payments are made monthly, at the end of the following month.
  • This delay allows time for Amazon sales to appear in KDP and to confirm legitimate transactions.
  • Payments are sent via PayPal or bank transfer, based on teacher preference.

6. Minimum Payout

  • There is no minimum payout threshold.

7. Fraud Prevention

Teachers agree not to:

  • click their own link repeatedly
  • ask others to click without intention to purchase
  • use bots, VPNs, fake traffic, or incentivised clicks

Suspicious activity will result in disqualification from the programme.

8. Link Usage

  • Teachers may share their link via messages, WhatsApp, email, lesson materials, their website, or newsletters.
  • Links may not be used in paid advertisements, Amazon ads, or spam marketing.

9. Changes to the Programme

The Piano Teaching Hub reserves the right to:

  • update commission amounts
  • adjust attribution rules
  • discontinue or pause the programme with immediate effect.
